Due to inclement weather, Bowie State University will be closed January 26-27, 2026. All classes, office operations and on-campus activities are canceled. Residence halls will remain open. Special Opportunities

The PPE degree program is designed to prepare students for pursuing advanced degree in any of the three academic fields.

Excel: Our PPE students can join groups like Pi Sigma Alpha (National Political Science Honor Society); Omicron Delta Epsilon, an international economics honor society; History & Government Club, BSU Philosophy Organization, and Phi Alpha Theta (History Honors Society).
 
Join: The student-led organizations or clubs host enriching learning activities and create networking opportunities for students to enhance and enrich their learning experiences outside of the classroom.
