College Ambassadors Program

The College Ambassadors Program (CAPS) is a highly selective organization that will provide exceptional undergraduate students with the opportunity to service in a student leadership capacity within the individual colleges at Bowie State University.

Selected CAPS will also benefit from the opportunity to:

• expand their communication and leadership skills
• expand their professional network
• enhance their resume
• express their passion for providing a student voice and helping their peers

Eligibility

• must be in good academic and disciplinary standing at Bowie State University
• have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00
• must have successfully completed at least 12 credits in their academic major
• transfer students will have completed 12 credits by the application deadline
• will be enrolled in at least 6 credits for the spring 2020 semester
• will be able to devote at least 2 semesters to the College Ambassadors Program

Application Process

• submit a completed and signed application (pdf)
• submit an unofficial transcrript
• submit two completed reference forms
• all documents must be submitted in an envelope
• submit applications in room 2352

Deadline: Friday, March 13, 2020, at 4:00 p.m.
