Hooding Ceremony
The Hooding Ceremony is a traditional event in the graduate student festivities at colleges and universities throughout the world. Graduates participate in a special academic hooding ceremony during which they receive their hood, a symbolic acknowledgment by the faculty to students who have attained a certain level of scholarly achievement.
The inaugural 2022 MPA Hooding Ceremony is the first graduate hooding event held by the College of Business. The event was conceived and organized by the Graduate Students of Public Administration (GASPA).
