2025 - Thank A Professor

Thank A Professor 2025, hosted by the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL), served as a heartfelt celebration of the Bowie State University faculty whose teaching, mentorship, and dedication continue to make a lasting difference in the lives of students. Held on May 7, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM in the James E. Proctor Jr. Building, Room 347, the event recognized professors for their unwavering commitment to nurturing intellect, curiosity, and academic achievement.

Faculty were welcomed throughout the afternoon to enjoy a warm and festive atmosphere centered on gratitude, connection, and community. The event provided a meaningful opportunity to honor the knowledge, encouragement, and guidance professors bring to the university through their work as educators and mentors.

The celebration featured fun, refreshments, and giveaways, along with a special Paint & Sip experience led by Dr. Charla McKinzie Bishop, which added a creative and engaging element to the occasion.
